Dear Colleagues,

The date of our conference is just two months away, and we look forward to welcoming you to Oxford University for our discussions on women and mission.

As some of you have noticed, our web site has undergone considerable reconstruction. All elements of the site are open for public access except conference papers and web projects, which are posted to a secure section of the site. We will send panelists and web-project authors their passwords soon.

On your next visit to our web site, http://womenandmission.binghamton.edu/
please check out the information for registration and local travel arrangements.

- Panelists: Registration is complimentary; however, you must pre-pay dinner arrangements for accompanying guests by March 27

- Web authors: Registration is complimentary; however you must pre-pay dinner arrangements for yourself and accompanying guests by March 27

- Conference attendees and students: Please click on the relevant links for information about registration and meals

Detailed information about the conference location, transportation to and from Oxford from major airports, including maps, hotel information, and travel within Oxford can be found on the web-site’s left-hand navigation bar under “Travel to Oxford.” For queries about local arrangements, please contact Emma Ruckley at emma.ruckley@queens.oxford.ac.uk

As our arrangements for the conference progress, we look forward to working with you. Our next newsletter will contain information about our process for presentations and discussions in Oxford. In the meantime, we would like to remind conference presenters and web-project authors who have not yet sent us their final papers (deadlines were February 1 and 20 respectively) to do so by March 3. All papers should be double-spaced throughout, approximately 35 pages in length including endnotes but excluding bibliography, and follow the citation conventions of the Chicago Style Manual.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters, please contact breeves-ellington@siena.edu

With best wishes from the organizing committee,
Kathryn Kish Sklar, Rui Kohiyama, Barbara Reeves-Ellington and Connie Shemo
